Liga-Koordination 2026/2027
After the discussion on April 22nd, Rado collected the following people.
You read it as follows: From left to right are the Leagues. From top to bottom is the commitment to play.
For any inquiries, please contact Rado: badminton@etv-hamburg.de

I => First Captain, C => Secondary Captain
Green: Primary FIXED player: will play all games except for health reasons, family stuff (including vacation), unplanned job appointments. Team-games take precedence over any other free time occupation (like party, weekend-trip, show-/sports-event), will adapt other stuff to league-schedule if possible ahead of time.
Blue: Regular FIXED player: will play most games, but not necessarily all, will share games in favour of other interests (like primary "no precedence") or has to work/study on weekend gamedays often, but wants to stick to team and help out in emergency before spare pool is called.
Yellow: Casual free player: wants to play "a few" games, not just in case of emergency, and not fixed to 1 team. Will not change private plans in emergency, but will expectedly have some free slots.
Orange: Emergency only player: wants to help out for short-term or long-ahead drop-outs, which can't be filled by fixed players. Will _NOT_ keep track of league-schedule to keep weekends free.
Team planning criteria
Primary goal as league manager:
1. keep as many teams survivable as possible to complete a season,
independent of result => no cancellations due to lack of players.
2. not give up "high/er level" league slots, because once gone, hard to
get back to.
Primary goal as Captain:
1. Reliable player base to field complete & successful matches.
==>> goal of form: find out availability & reliability
green: available & reliable
blue: available, but not reliable
yellow: on demand, not reliable
orange: last call
Initial responses (without Kids):
1. Suggested that we do NOT have sufficient ladies for 2 teams.
Phases of decision making
1. 1 BL Team, because of _too little_ commitment for 2 teams with just 2
green + 2 blue ladies.
2, New Kids players should get a chance to grow into adult leagues.
3. Senior players want to achieve their goals (promotion, at least not
demotion), don't want to rely on inexperienced Kids.
4. "new" BL Team "Kids preferred" with some willing support adults.
5. 2 new ladies reported as green.
6. except for the reliability for Kids-Teams, the "power-players" in the
"challengers": established doubles MX + DD/HD stick together, newbies in
new team.
Reactions:
green "reliable" =
is NOT "automatically _will get_ every game",
but "_can make_ every game".
How the games are split up is up to each team/members/captain.
If you can't agree on common grounds on your own, then we have to find a
way together or break up.
